I can’t believe it’s already been a year. I’ve learned so much, have met incredible people, work with women who have helped me stay upright when times were down, and can see that at one years old, the parlors got a long way to go but it has come a long way. I have all of you to thank for helping the parlor get on her pretty painted feet.

This has been my baby for the past year and it’s been teething and hiccuping most of the year. At one year’s old, the parlor has more babysitters than I could have ever hoped for and everyone’s support has helped her go from crawling to taking her first wobbly step. On the eve of Polish Parlor’s birthday, Coco Miel makes her first appearance on WordPress and my heart flutters just as it did a year ago today when I see another creation is born out of the union of creative passion, desire to share, and hope for greatness.

To the women who believe in their power of divine conception—make a wish, make an effort, make it true.
